Misconceptions in Physics at Elementary School - Suggestions on Procedure During Their Elimination.
Rusínová, Anita ; Drozd, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Kolářová, Růžena (referee)
In my bachelor thesis I outlined the ideas of our school's students about certain physical phenomena. From my practical experience I regularly come across misleading ideas that my students hold, and which are common general public, yet do not correspond to reality and have no scientific base. They are called misconceptions. It is very difficult to disprove such ideas and, as previous research results have shown, almost impossible because most students turn back to their misconceptions when the classes are over. I try to suggest such teaching methods that would leave long-term information in some students at least and prevent them from returning to the original misleading ideas. I have also tried to find physical models which students come across during Physics lessons at an elementary school and through which they describe the reality incorrectly. Physical experiment with improvised tools in physics teaching
FIDLER, Ondřej
The main focus of the project- to show the physics to the schoolmates in an interesting way. The work concerns on the experiment analysis. Thereafter follows the analysis of these experiments, where the improvised aids are used. Physical phenomenon are evaluated in these experiments. Experiments are divided into six categories - hydromechanics, pressure and volume of the liquids, optical phenomenon, sound transmission, magnetic and electronic forces, forces around us.
Implementation of selected applets to the teaching of physics
Kotmel, František ; Dvořáková, Irena (advisor) ; Žák, Vojtěch (referee)
My Bachelor's dissertations deals with the utilisation of physical applets in education. In the first part, I study the issue of implementing tablets in schools. In the second part, the work displays the possibilities of utilising the Physics at school application.. The quintessential part of the work is the fifth chapter, where are nine working lists with the utilisation of the Physics at school application as well with author's answers. The sixth chapter entails the evaluation of previous classes using the lists. The working lists are primarily structured for students between 7 and 9 grade of the primary school.

Conceptual and Mind Maps in Physics Education
KROTIL, Daniel
This diploma thesis tries to analyze aspects of mind mapping as an effective instrument for active and creative teaching of physics at the elementary school and high school. The opening part contains basic knowledge of learning theories, creativity, psychological aspects of mind mapping, difference between mind mapping and conceptual mapping and methodology of the mind mapping. Practical part of the thesis contains methodical advice for teaching physics using mind maps in different levels of teaching process. This thesis presents results of an experiment on success rate of elementary school pupils in solving quantitative tasks using mind mapping
Didactical aspects of nurturing creativity in physics teaching
JÍNA, Karel
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of creativity in the teaching of physics in elementary school. Creativity is first described in general. The reader will learn what are the aspects of creativity, what are the characteristics of creative solution of problems and how is creativity being developed in the course of live. Then, the thesis focused on the pedagogical concept of creativity. Didactic aspects of creativity teaching are presented here and creative teaching methods are characterized. Further is the work already focused on the teaching of physics itself. Besides traditional teaching methods are introduced mind maps, divergent physical tasks and advice for the realization of creativity teaching. The practical part of this thesis is the suggestion of the collection of divergent tasks and ?research probe?, i.e. the practical verification of several tasks. The tasks were given to two different groups of students, one of which had already had experience with solving these tasks, and for the second group it was something new. The results of both groups were compared and conclusions were made.
The concept of aid set for physics education at basic school
VRKOČ, Pavel
Abstract This dissertation is thematicly focused on oscillation, wave and acoustics. The goal of this work is to certified suitability of experiments in the physics lessons on the elementary school. There are different kinds of experiments, which are suitably put into lessons. These experiments help pupils to understand the subject matter. A part of the work is also draft of kit to demonstrate experiments which are carrying out during the physics lessons. The dissertation contains a set of experiments with this kit. To check out precondition, that putting experiments is suitable activity during the lessons are here suggested and in practice verified worksheets. The analysis of these worksheets is the conclusion of this dissetation.
